The Coastal Plain League announced that for the first time ever it will have an entire team fan-voted in the 2019 All-Star Showdown in Savannah, Ga., July 7-8 at Historic Grayson Stadium. Voting opens today, June 25th at 5 p.m. ET and runs until Thursday, June 27 at 5 p.m. ET.
Fans will be selecting from a list of players from around the CPL and ultimately forming a team comprised of one player at every position and three pitchers. The team will compete against five other teams named to the All-Star Showdown - fans can find a full breakdown of the format and rosters here.
