RedWolves blow past Blowfish

The Florence RedWolves handily defeat the Lexington County Blowfish 9-2 on Monday night at Sparrow Stadium.

 

The RedWolves used an early offensive explosion scoring six times in the first three innings to chase Blowfish starter, Tringali, and get their third win in row.

 

Pacing the RedWolves offense in the win was Patrick Causa (Mount Saint Mary's) who went 3 for 5 with three runs scored and two stolen bases. Also having a strong night offensively was Ben Peden who went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

 

The benefit of the offense was Michael Kuypers (Mount Saint Mary's) who tossed 7 strong innings allowing just seven hits and two runs while striking out three.

 

Joshua Plummer (Tennessee) finished out the night for Florence tossing two shutout innings while striking out three. 

 

The RedWolves (8-6) will return home Tuesday to battle the Macon Bacon. 

 

Tuesday will be Kids Camp Night and Homers birthday. All kids from kid's camp will get a chance to run the bases after the game. Also, anyone who bring Pedigree dog or cat food will receive free admission to a future game.
