The Florence RedWolves used a big offensive night and shut down pitching to defeat the Lexington County Blowfish 7-0 on Saturday night.

The RedWolves opened their scoring early when AJ Archambo (Oral Roberts) singled Joe Simone (Rider) home in the top of the second. Later in the inning, Cole Dubet (Saint Louis) would single home Archambo and Griffin Hulecki (Ball State) to make the score 3-0.

Dubet would continue his hot night when he singled home Bryson Smith (Texas) and Brock Hallum (LIU-Brooklyn) in the top of the fourth to make it 5-0 Florence.

The RedWolves would cap off their scoring in a big way in the fifth when Hallum hit a two-run home run to right field to push the Florence lead out to 7-0. It was Hallum's first home run of the summer in his first game with the RedWolves. His home run was also the first homer a Florence batter has hit this season.

Dubet would finish his night 2 for 4 with four RBIs, while Hallum was 4 for 5 with a home run and two RBIs.

Jackson Svete (LIU-Brooklyn) would be the beneficiary of all the offense, getting the win after tossing 5 shutout innings surrendering just one hit and striking out two.

Jonathan Hughes (Georgia Tech) would finish off the shutout for Florence tossing 4 innings giving up just two hits and striking out four.
