He racked up several league highs, including batting average (.650), hits (13), runs (10), RBIs (17), home runs (7), slugging percentage (1.900) and OPS (2.582). The redshirt senior from Grand Valley State also drew a pair of walks, connected on four doubles, and had an on-base percentage of 0.682.

McAfee made the most of his one appearance, throwing six complete innings to finish the week with a 0.00 ERA and 1-0 record. Standing at 6-4, 210 pounds, the freshman righty from Seminole State, allowed just one hit, walked two and struck out seven. He also sported as an impressive 0.50 WHIP to go with a K/9 of 10.50, all while holding opposing batters to a lousy .053 average.
