Owls Broadcaster Wins Jeopardy

The Forest City Owls announced today that former radio broadcaster Danny Parra (pictured right) has won Jeopardy. Parra won $22,000 last night and looks to continue his streak tonight.
Parra worked for the Owls during the 2011 season as the Media Relations Intern and radio broadcaster. Known for his movie quotes and great personality he instantly became a fan favorite. Parra becomes the first Owls staff member to be on a national television game show.
“I am so proud of Danny and his accomplishments,” says Owls General Manager Jeremy Boler. “Danny started off with us as an intern last summer and I am glad to see he is doing so well. He is extremely smart, very funny and just a great over all guy. I know I speak for everyone in the Owls family when I say that we are so proud of Danny for his achievements and we all wish him luck tonight.”
Parra will appear on Jeopardy again tonight at 7:30 p.m.
**Update** Parra finished in second place on Tuesday (Jan. 31) night, earning another $2,000. In total, he collected $24,000 from Jeopardy. Congrats again to Danny from the Owls family and the CPL!
