The Gastonia Grizzlies announced today the addition of Mighty Dollar Monday’s to the 2012 schedule.  For all Monday home games, everything will be a $1, including tickets, hot dogs, chips, candy, soda and beer. 

Mighty Dollar has teamed up with the Grizzlies to provide this promotion and will be present at every Monday and provide giveaways to the fans.

“We have never done anything like this in our franchise history and made everything $1 including tickets,” said Managing Partner Jesse Cole.  “We are excited to partner with Mighty Dollar on this promotion and give our fans by far the best deal in town.”

The Grizzlies host three Monday games in 2012 including June 18th vs. Martinsville, and July 2nd and July 9th against the Florence Red Wolves. 

The Grizzlies are proud members of the Coastal Plain League, the nation’s hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 15th season in 2011, the CPL features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both the players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 930 alumni drafted and 46 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
