Today the Forest City Owls announced that U.S. Military All-Stars will play at McNair Field this summer.  The Owls will face off against the All-Stars on Friday, June 22. This will mark the first military game ever to be played at McNair Field. The Military All-Stars are also known for their patriotic pre-game ceremonies.

The U.S. Military All-Stars are the only barnstorming team in the world featuring players from all branches of the Armed Forces and First Responders competing in baseball. Since 1990, over 25,000 men and women serving on Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, ROTC, Service Academy, Delayed Entry Program, Wounded Warriors, Amputees, and Veterans have suited-up for the “Red, White & Blue Tour.”

“I think this will be a great game to honor all of our service men and women and all of our wonderful veterans,” says Owls General Manager Jeremy Boler. “After the huge success of the Team Japan game in 2011, we feel the U.S. Military All-Stars game will be one of the biggest games in franchise history. We could not be more excited about hosting the All-Stars and supporting our military and veterans.”

The Military All-Stars game is included in all Box seat and Premium seat & other season ticket packages. 2012 Season Ticket Holders will have the first opportunity to purchase extra tickets to this game before they go on sale to the general public. The best way to guarantee yourself a ticket to the game of the year is to purchase a season ticket package or book a group outing. Season tickets come in packages of 30 – 15 – 7 games plans. A group outing can be booked for as low as 15 people. Military All-Star tickets will not go on sale to the general public until a later date.
