Zachary Files (Jr., Florida International) Florence

Files was a catalyst in week seven for the RedWolves finishing the week with a .538 batting average across five games. During that span he managed four doubles, one home run and four RBIs for a 1.077 slugging percentage. Even more impressive was the infielders eye at the plate as he drew 13 walks on the week helping him steal five bases and score nine runs on his way to a .769 on-base percentage.

Connor Riley (Jr., USC-Aiken) Wilmington

On the mound, Riley continued his historic pace with a sensational 16 strikeout performance over seven-innings of shutout work, allowing only four hits and earning the win versus Wilson on July 15. The junior has been a force all season for the Sharks as he is currently on pace to finish near the top of the CPL All-Time lists in total strikeouts and strikeouts per nine innings for a single season. Currently the right-hander has 80 strikeouts in 50 2/3 innings to go along with a 14.2 SO/9 rate.
